Luxury retail launch

NOTES
As a new luxury retail outpost, Gracious Living needed a sophisticated identity in record time. I worked with them to creative direct the brand, and provided end-to-end design services to support print, digital, and environmental efforts. My involvement included naming the store, conceiving the storefront concept, designing the full brand identity, and art directing a full publication for the launch.

When approaching the website design, we wanted to online impression to feel just as refined and elegant as the interior of the shop. I also created social media assets and templates to support the brand as it evolves.

Research showed that the store’s clientele would respond well to the high-end nature of the product offerings, so I suggested creating a Fall/Winter lookbook to showcase the designers’ style and tease at some of the exciting goods to come in the future. We set up a shoot and styled/art directed the photo sessions on the premises.

An exciting part of the project was conceptualizing the storefront design. In a historic old-town street with lots of charm, we wanted Gracious Living to stand as a pillar of modern style and elegance. (Without breaking the opening budget, of course!) The design leveraged the existing wood textures but gave it a fresh black glass with some modern hardwares and fresh signage.
